The EMA system (electronic volume evaluation) offers an optimum solution for the exact recording, determination and evaluation of spillway volumes that discharge over fixed weir thresholds. The EMA system consists of the following components:

EMA panel: Variable mechanical design with E-scale optics to accommodate, protect and precisely adjust the sensors.

EMA sensor technology: High-precision continuous measurement value recording and additional height fixed point for calibration.

EMA controller: High-resolution recording and archiving of measurement data using the delta event method with verification and calibration function. EMA evaluation: User-friendly data evaluation with graphical analysis tool and logging based on Microsoft Excel.

EMA-DiBo: Height fixed point (reference signal) for calibration and plausibility check of the EMA sensor system

EMA measuring profile: structured measuring profile to compensate for structural height differences and to improve accuracy.

THE EMA MODULAR SYSTEM
The HST EMA system is the optimum solution for high-precision determination and evaluation of overflow and discharge volumes at fixed weir thresholds, gated flap gates/weirs and in discharge pipes, as well as for flow and discharge volume measurement in channels, flumes and pipelines in the partial and full filling application areas.
