Segment weir

Segment weirs are used wherever water volumes need to be regulated more precisely at high back pressures. Due to their load-bearing principle, they can be operated with low actuating forces and therefore low drive power. Thanks to the frame-rod design with attached baffle plate, segment weirs can now also be used economically for smaller dams and discharge volumes.

The design-related lower material requirement to absorb the loads allows the segment weirs to be manufactured economically, even in stainless steel and composite materials. This reduces maintenance and servicing costs by eliminating the work otherwise required to remove corrosion and ensure corrosion protection.
