The user-friendly SCADA V10 process control system monitors and documents the processes of central and decentralized systems. The highly integrated SCADA- package visualizes all process data via a multi-touch capable visualization, enables an optimal graphic process analysis and includes a complete alarm management. In addition to the statutory regulations, the logging system is based on the DWA information and information sheets, such as M207, M253 and M260. SCADA V10 is the innovative, open-system process control system from a single source, which can be ideally networked with other IT solutions from HST. SCADA V10 is the office package for the water industry.
Focus on the essentials
SCADA V10 is characterized by the fact that even complex relationships and functions can be easily and intuitively operated. The user interfaces are designed in such a way that important and frequently used functions are easy to reach. The operating elements are located where all relevant data is available at a glance. Our demand for ergonomics applies system-wide. SCADA V10 is all of a piece. This is the only way to ensure that a uniform operating philosophy, uniform terms and a central shared database are in place.
Archiving after delta event
The basis of every analysis is the quality of the data obtained. For this reason, SCADA V10 archives according to the HST delta event method, thus ensuring an optimal database. The delta event procedure was established over 25 years ago by HST and has been continuously refined. This flexible recording procedure ensures that every relevant change is recorded and that no unnecessary data is archived at the same time. Cyclical archiving of tapping quantities in dry weather is not useful. On the other hand, highly accurate recording is absolutely essential in the event of an event. Therefore, a recording method must react to the dynamics of the process and must not record average values in a static time grid. In addition, with the delta event method, all archive data is available as raw data since the start of archive recording and therefore enables a high-resolution analysis of historical data. When using a raster archive, older archive data is only available in aggregated form.

Versatile - modular - scalable

When designing the SCADA system, we placed particular emphasis on flexibility. It is not the process that has to adapt to the SCADA system, but the SCADA system to the given process. For this reason, SCADA V10 has a large number of standard interfaces and communication options. The process can be connected directly via the network via TCP/IP or Profinet, via a dedicated line, via the Internet (DSL/3G/4G). In addition, SCADA V10 also supports communication via radio such as “Industrial WLAN” or time slot radio.

A large number of drivers are available for connecting the automation or telecontrol level. The SCADA system itself can be set up as a stand-alone system, as a client-server system or as a cluster system.

The operator workstations can be integrated as classic Windows workstations or as web workstations. Web-based operating clients and web applications specially optimized for use on smartphones and tablets are available for the on-call service.

Cascaded system solution for dressings

Water and wastewater associations operate a large number of wastewater treatment plants, waterworks and decentralized plants. Networking is therefore a particular focus here. With SCADA V10, individual plants can be independently equipped with a SCADA system and also communicate with a higher-level control room. This means that all the required process data from the lower-level systems is available on the higher-level control system and can be viewed from a higher-level perspective. For example, higher-level reporting or higher-level alarm management can be implemented.
