PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
One flap – two functions: Twin flaps for the optimum design of spillways at flood pumping stations. RSK/Twin butterfly valves are used at flood pumping stations and diversion structures to control flow paths. They allow two flow paths to be opened or closed alternately with one valve. The use of RSK/twin flaps results in smaller structures.

Details
RSK/Twin butterfly valves are preferably used in flood pumping stations. They enable the alternate opening or closing of two flow paths with one construction and replace the gate valves/contactors required in conventional designs. Swing flaps are generally simpler and safer in terms of their movement sequences. They can be loaded on the pressure and draft sides. In the event of flooding, RSK/Twin flaps close the opening to the receiving water and simultaneously open the flow path to the flood pumps.
