Precipitation/flocculation unit/system

During precipitation, dissolved substances in the water are converted into undissolved substances through the targeted addition of precipitants or a shift in pH value. During subsequent flocculation, the dissolved substances in the water are converted into a less soluble form, forming settleable flocs. The flocs that form can be separated from the water by physical processes (sedimentation, filtration, flotation).

By monitoring the process in the precipitation/flocculation stage and using coordinated dosing technology, a highly efficient operating regime is achieved. The know-how of the HST engineers guarantees the selection of suitable auxiliary materials and corresponding process efficiency.
