AWS jet

The AWS jet washer is an automatic flow generator for energy-optimized cleaning of stormwater tanks and sewer storage areas. A powerful pump with injector set generates a water-air mixture as a driving and cleaning jet. The HST HydroMatic software is used for energy-efficient control of the cleaning process.

This fully automatic cleaning device ensures that contaminants are kept in suspension and deposits are dissolved. The suspended pollutants are removed when the tank is emptied. In addition, the introduction of oxygen reduces or delays decomposition processes, which can reduce odor nuisance during longer retention times.

While the tank is being emptied, the jet cleaner is operated in intermittent or continuous mode according to preset switching points. Cleaning is also supported by the swivel movements performed.

Using the HydroMatic control software, the operating mode of the cleaning system can be individually adapted to the local operating conditions. Different tank geometries or installations such as columns or pipes often require individual adjustment of the operating parameters.
