New addition to the HST portfolio

A new player is on the pitch: the AWS 3D jet blaster! Its high degree of mobility allows the unit to be fully rotated through 360° horizontally. The 3-axis swivel and articulation also allows it to be used vertically and overhead. The system is safe to operate as all components can be flooded. The high degree of flexibility allows installation on walls, floors or ceilings. The units are installed free-standing at a defined distance from the floor. This means that even large layers of dirt can be broken up and cleared away thanks to a steep jet angle. The directed jet angle increases the shear stress of the cleaning jet, which means that previous problem areas and areas close to the floor can be cleaned much better. Even the usually problematic area directly around the unit can be cleaned almost completely. Pool cleaning is particularly effective when the bell-shaped effective area of a 3D jet cleaner, the size of which is determined by the selected pump capacity and nozzle configuration, can be completely covered. This is achieved with the new system by changing the throw parabola with different articulated arm positions and jet angles. This results in an increase in the possible cleaning area.

System now also cleans vertically

Particularly after heavy rainfall and the associated backing up of basin systems, the pollutants from the wastewater not only remain on the basin floor, but are also found on the walls and even on the ceiling of underground storage rooms. The new 3D jet cleaner and its variable jet angle make it easy to remove them. A desirable side effect: the water jet simultaneously introduces air into the storage tank. The pool is aerated and odours are minimized. In the 22 kW pump version and with a cleaning capacity of over 250,000 l/h, the AWS 3D jet creates water fountains 20 meters high and with a throw of 50 meters.

3-DIMENSIONAL

Two-dimensional pool cleaning offers a considerable technical advantage compared to manual and one-dimensional jet cleaners. Large parts of the bottom surface and the lower wall surface are cleaned by 2D jet cleaners. 3D jet cleaners can also clean the entire wall surface and the building ceiling. Three-dimensional jet cleaners greatly extend the cleaning area. The multi-dimensional movement area makes it possible to clean almost 100% of all surfaces in the building. Due to the flexibility, surfaces at greater distances can also be reached.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The AWS 3D jet cleaner is unique on the market and was developed by HST for special requirements in large buildings and for high dirt loads. As with the 1D and 2D jet cleaners, a powerful pump with injector set generates a water-air mixture as a propelling and cleaning jet. The AWS 3D jet cleaner is the first solution for almost any pool geometry with outstanding cleaning results. The robotics-based mode of operation can now also position the cleaning jet vertically in any direction. The machine can now also clean the walls, the ceiling and itself in addition to the floor of the building. A special cleaning strategy is required for each basin. The machine is taught several cleaning patterns using the teach-in process. The movement sequences are executed precisely depending on the water level. Thanks to the IntelliGrid-3D automation extension, soiling can be localized and removed in a targeted manner. IntelliGrid-3D improves the cleaning result, reduces energy consumption and increases the service life of the jet washer.
