Alligator discharge throttle

The flow regulator with maximum control accuracy for the smallest installation spaces with IntelliFlow

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Alligator is a pneumatically controlled discharge control system with integrated
flow measurement function, which uses an accurate full-fill MID
for flow measurement. The cleverly designed system
is used wherever liquid media are measured and
controlled. It is suitable for hydraulic challenges
and confined spaces in conjunction with high accuracy requirements
. Unlike conventional flow regulators
which use electric actuators
to regulate the flow rate, the Alligator works with an extremely robust flap driven by
a compressed air cushion, which can be opened and
closed quickly. The outstanding quality of the Alligator and the
measurement is certified before delivery by the factory’s own test bench calibration
. Even hydraulic disturbances
such as lateral inflows or deflections in structures can be taken into account
and the measurement calibrated accordingly.

Application

  • Throttle structures
  • Stormwater tanks / storm sewers
  • Channel management
  • Sewage treatment plants / pumping stations
  • Separating structures
  • Other dams
  • Billing-relevant quantity recording in municipalities and industry

YOUR ADVANTAGES

  • High measuring accuracy, fast actuators, calibration
  • Extremely short overall lengths and low heights possible in confined spaces
  • No mechanical moving parts in the wastewater that are susceptible to faults
  • High agility and flushing effect compared to slow electric drives
  • Easy cleaning thanks to clever folding device
  • Intell. Automation with self-control and cleaning function
  • Extensive data monitoring and recording
  • Extremely robust construction also in PE/PP for chem. waste water
  • Calibration on test bench with certificate verification

Alligator + IntelliFlow = SMART Machine

With the IntelliFlow software extension, the Alligator carries out regular and independent system checks. For this purpose, additional, system-independent data and reference curves for measuring device calibration are used and evaluated. This makes it easy to check the system during operation, which is required by the self-monitoring regulations in many German states. The measured flow value is therefore always a reliable value.
