PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Airlift is a solution for mixing and circulating wastewater with coarse bubble aeration. Pipes with special holes are installed in a line on the tank wall above the tank floor. Air is passed through these pipes at a defined pressure and the resulting air bubbles circulate the wastewater in the tank. As these are coarse bubbles that quickly rise to the surface and then escape, the oxygen in the wastewater is prevented from dissolving.
The intelligent TeleMatic automation solution controls the valves of the air lines. When the Airlift is used in denitrification tanks, oxygen measurements are installed and integrated into the automation solution. These measurements ensure that no oxygen is dissolved in the circulation process and consumed by the bacteria.
